InterOss®

InterOss® is a natural hydroxyapatite bone grafting material for bone regeneration users in dentistry. Made from a proven multi-step purification process leaving only a bone composition, InterOss® is a highly purified osteoconductive material for bone regeneration.

InterOss® is chemically and structurally comparable to mineralized human bone, and it has an interconnected network of macro and micropores and large inner surface areas providing an ideal environment for cell attachment.

InterOss® is available in granule form. It is supplied sterile and is dedicated for single use.

Indications of Use

InterOss® granules are recommended for:

  • Filling of periodontal defects in conjunction with products intended for Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR) and Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR)
  • Filling of peri-implant defects in conjunction with products intended for Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR)
  • Filling of extraction sockets to enhance preservation of the alveolar ridge
  • Filling of defects after root resection, apicoectomy, and cystectomy
  • Augmentation or reconstructive treatment of the alveolar ridge
  • Filling of infrabony periodontal defects
  • Elevation of the maxillary sinus floor

Dr Kashif Hafeez was honoured by Membership and Fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland and has been honored with Fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He has completed his post graduate certificate in Medical and Dental education from Oxford Brookes University. He has special interest in Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology and has been acting as visiting Implantologist at various practices in England. He has been a post graduate Dental Foundation trainer for Oxford Deanery from 2010 to 2015 and due to his passion for quality in education he has been appointed as Examiner for Royal College of Surgeons Ireland & Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He has taught at the M-Clindent programme, City of London Dental School, BPP University UK and lectures internationally on Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology, runs Dental Implantology courses in UK, Mexico, Gulf, Egypt & Pakistan. He is a visiting Professor in Oral Surgery at Fatima Jinnah Dental College Karachi Pakistan in addition, he serves as a Scientific Adviser Makkah International Dental Conferences. He has been presenting his scientific work & research at prominent international dental conferences. He serves as an adviser & expert for General Dental Council UK. He was awarded as the Best Dentist by APPS UK in 2013. He is an Examiner and Assessor in Oral Surgery for University of Health Sciences and College of Physicians & Surgeons, Pakistan. Dr Hafeez is course tutor for Minor Oral Surgery courses at LonDec, Kings College Dental Education Centre and runs courses/study days for Health Education England. He has recently been honored as a Fellow Faculty of Dental Trainers by Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He has recently completed his post graduate Certificate in Mentoring, Leadership & Coaching from CMI &Dental coaching Academy, UK.
